DebugEnabler

This mod allows you to use it on almost anything in your world and is a platform for adding manual debugging interactions for error correction and other various reasons.

On this Interaction page, you will see all the interactions available within this mod on a specified location (terrain), object, lot, sim and scenario. There are plenty of useful *hacks* within them but there are some that can be harmful to your game.

Those labeled as "DO NOT USE" are already considered:
- harmful to the game.
- will not work and produce an error message.

Those labeled as "UNTESTED" have:
- not been tested and the result of the interaction is unknown.
- incomplete data available in order to run the interaction properly.

NOTE
Most interactions unlocked by this mod are created and provided by EA and are NOT SUPPORTED by NRaas Coders.

Some interactions may have been missed while trying to map all those available within DebugEnabler. If you know what a certain interaction does, please go to this thread and notify us within a post, so we can add the interaction to this page or give further details about the interaction. Thank you very much in advance.

Navigation tips: Always use the "Table of Contents" (top right of your screen) to go directly to a certain DebugEnabler menu. If you are looking for a certain interaction, press CTRL+F then type in what you are looking for (object name/short scenario name/interaction name) within the search box (usually at the top left) of your Internet Browser and it will show all the results within this page, highlighted in yellow. You might get several hits and may need to go through them all to find what you are looking for.


Rabbithole Menu

Immediately in Pie menu:
  • Move>
    • You are able to move the Sim Up (raises a Sim one foundation mid-air) / Down (burrows a Sim one foundation underground) or Delta (enter a value for + is up and - is down).
    • Animate objects, such as Sims, that are moved UP will fall back down to the floor again the next time they move on their own (if the game is not paused).
      • Use this to correct issues caused by moving a Sim with Moveobjects on such as the Sim falling through floors back to ground level.
    • Wall-mounted objects such as paintings or slotted items like easel paintings and workbench projects should not be moved this way as the game will still treat them as if they were in the previous location, which may cause issues.
  • Reapply Interactions>
  • Total Reset>
    • Resets all DebugEnabler Settings to the default values.
  • Version = [Number]>
    • Shows DebugEnabler version number.
  • Set Hot Keys>
    • When you have an interaction set as a Hot Key, it will add a new menu under NRaas > named "Debug Enabler Hot Keys". This will only show if the specified location/object is valid or requires a certain scenario to "trigger" the interaction.

        • Enables or disables the aging on all residents in town
    • Change Name
      • Changes the name of the lot or rabbit hole

      • Displays the scripting class for a sim's active interaction
    • Current Situation (only; City Hall)
    • Cycle Through Protest Images (only; City Hall)

      • Dumps all active alarms running in the town to script log

      • Moves the object and everything on or in it, into the active family's Family Inventory, even if this cannot be normally done. (Note: this moves the object without "cleaning up", for example, if you move a painting from an easel to the Family Inventory, the easel will not "know" the painting is gone so it will remain "in use").

      • Displays the category and index of the sim's currently active outfit

      • Resets the walk-style for a sim to default

      • This prints the object's 'Type Name' or 'Resource Key', which can then be used in Master Controller or through the console for specific actions (usually deleting all objects of a certain type or class)
    • Sculpturify
      • Replaces the object with a sculpture of it.

        • Re-enables the standing social interactions for the selected sim, or all sims in town
        • This interaction can be used to fix sims who have been resurrected and are no longer contactable or had their social interactions disabled by a game process (such as routing) and bounced before the setting was reset.

        • Resets the homeworld for all resident sims to the current world, correcting an error caused by MasterController's "Add Sim"

Lot Menu

        • A room that contains any objects that enforce privacy (bathtubs, showers, toilets, etc.) cannot contain the house's front door

Sim Menu

Usage: Click on Sim> NRaas> DebugEnabler>

Immediately in Pie menu:
  • Move>

      • Allows the user to change the visa level for any of the three EA World Adventure Vacation Worlds

      • Specifically made for EA own developers. Using this interaction will either Freeze your game or the game will Crash To Desktop

    • Clear All Active Jobs
      • Drops all jobs currently queued for the sim. Useful if one of the jobs is bugged and cannot be completed normally.
      • Available when your sim has an active career, such as "Ghosthunter", "Stylist", "Singer"
    • Covert Untranslated Key
    • Create Incoming Cellphone Call
    • Death
      • Apply Ghost Shader
        • When used on a ghost, this allows the user to change the type of death.
    • DEBUG Check Stuck Sim
    • DEBUG Give Attraction Gift

    • DEBUG: Have Parents Take Free Vacation
      • Only select this on teens with parents in the same household! Will send the parents away for 48 hours on an (uncontrollable) vacation, without triggering the social worker etc. for remaining children.

      • Creates a high-school diploma for the sim and adds it to the sim's inventory

      • Creates a skill certificate for any maxed level skill, and added it to the sim's inventory

Terrain Menu

Usage: Click on terrain (empty lot / world map / water (ocean/pool/pond/river/etc.)) > NRaas> DebugEnabler>

Immediately in Pie menu:
  • Set Hot Keys>
    • When you have an interaction set as Hot Key, it will add a new menu under NRaas> named "Debug Enabler Hot Keys". This will only show if the specified location/object is valid or requires a certain scenario to "trigger" the interaction.
  • Radius Purge>
    • Will delete any object and Sim within the given radius.
    • You are able to set the range of the radius manually, 1 = 1 sim/tile = 1 sim/meter = 3 sim/feet (equivalent to lot terrain Debug Enabler interaction "DEBUG: Delete Objects in a meter range")
    • Use with precaution (savegame before attempting)!
  • Options>
    • Boat Here (only on water)
    • Create...
      • Alien
        • Will create an Alien Sim on the specified location.
        • You are able to select Age and Gender of the Alien.
        • The Alien will be placed in your active Family household.
      • Debug Sound Box (UNTESTED)
        • Will create a soundbox object in the shape of a portable fire pit on the specified location.
        • Usage and values to use, to operate the object, is unknown.
      • Debug Weather Machine
        • Will create a weather machine in the shape of a Fire Hydrant on the specified location.
        • Will replace and remove the Weather Stone in your world.
      • Debug: Create All Time Statues (UNTESTED)
        • Requires you to have unlocked Future Traveling.
      • Debug: Create Crystal Plant
        • Will create a Crystal Plant seed on the specified location.
      • Debug: Create Playable Simbot
        • Will create a Simbot on the specified location.
        • You are able to select the gender.
        • You are able to adopt it into your Family Household or release it onto the world.
      • Debug: Create Spirit
        • Will create a Spirit on the specified location.
        • You are able to choose it to be hidden or revealed.
      • Debug: Create Time Statue
        • Will create a Time Statue of Emit Relevart.
        • The statue might be incomplete if you haven't unlocked Future Traveling.
      • Insect
        • You are able to spawn any type of insect sort (Beetle-type / Butterfly-type / Glow Bug-type / Nanite-type / Other) on specified location.
      • Minor Pet
        • You are able to create any type of minor pets (Large Bird-type / Lizards-type / Rodent-type / Small Bird-type / Snake-type / Turtle-type) on specified location.
      • Mushrooms
        • Will create four types of random mushrooms on the specified location.
      • Playable Reaper
        • Will create a Playable Grim Reaper on the specified location.
        • The Reaper will be placed in your active Family household.
      • Rocks/Gem/Metal
        • You are able to spawn any type of Gem/Metal/Rock or choose to spawn random selection on the specified location.
      • SeaLife
        • You are able to spawn any type of SeaLife on the specified location.
      • Seashell
        • You are able to spawn any type of Seashell on the specified location.
      • Spawn TownieMaker Object (DO NOT USE)
        • Will drop a round ball, indicates some sort of spawner, on the specified location. These objects are created by the game itself and should be a hidden object for gameplay. It's unwise to use this interaction.
      • Trash
        • Drops a pile of trash on specified location
      • WildFlowers
    • Create Object
      • Can create any objects, which requires you to know the object names to be able to create it.
      • If the object is assigned "CAN BE PLACED IN INVENTORY" it will be placed in your Sims inventory, if not then it will be placed on specified location.
    • DEBUG: Add Fire (only; within the boundaries of an empty Lot)
      • A custom version of the EA "DEBUG Add Fire" interaction, which allows you to set fires on non-home lots.
    • DEBUG: Add Last MSD (UNTESTED)
      • The purpose of this interaction is unknown.
    • DEBUG: Add Puddle (only; within the boundaries of an empty Lot)
      • Will create a puddle (mini/regular) on the specified location.
    • DEBUG: Add test Challenge (DO NOT USE)
      • Will try to create a challenge since the lot is empty there isn't a challenge to start and DebugEnabler will send you an ERROR message instead.
    • DEBUG: Are points connected by land?
      • Will check the lot if it's connected with land on every side of the lot.
    • DEBUG: Bulldoze this Lot
      • Will remove everything that's built/placed on the lot.
    • DEBUG: Burn/Unburn Tile (only; within the boundaries of an empty Lot)
      • The specified location will start coloring black as if it has been burned. If it can't find a tile on the specified ground, it will give you an ERROR.
    • DEBUG: Check Room Restriction for Sim
      • Will produce a notification of the restrictions for the lot.
    • DEBUG: Cleanup State (UNTESTED)
      • The purpose of this interaction is unknown.
    • DEBUG: Create MaterialSetTest (UNTESTED)
      • The purpose of this interaction is unknown.
    • DEBUG: Delete Objects in a meter range
      • Will delete any object and Sim within a meter range.

      • Forces the household thumbnail picture to be redrawn.
    • DEBUG: Generate Lot Thumbnails
      • Forces the lot's thumbnail picture to be redrawn.
    • DEBUG: Generate Prom Picture for Sims pairs
      • Will create a Prom Picture and be placed in the Sim Inventory.
      • Require a Sim to be on the lot.
    • DEBUG: Go Here in Style
      • Will Push the Active Sim to the specified location by chosen walk style.
    • DEBUG: Has Rain Puddle
      • Will check if there's a Rain Puddle on the specified location.
    • DEBUG: Is Lot Empty
      • Does a quick scan to see if the Lot is empty.
    • DEBUG: Leaves (only; within the boundaries of an empty Lot)
      • Option to Drop / Remove Leaves on the specified location.
      • Requires a Tree on the lot

      • Forces the Active household to move immediately to the specified household
      • The household does not need to be purchased, however, you also do not receive any funds from the sale of the old lot

Object Menu

Usage: Click on object> NRaas> DebugEnabler>

Immediately in Pie menu:
  • Move>
    • You are able to move the Sim Up (raises a Sim 1 foundation midair) / Down (burrows a Sim 1 foundation underground) or Delta (enter a value for + is up and - is down)
    • Animate objects, such as Sims, that are moved UP will fall back down to the floor again the next time they move on their own (if the game is not paused)
      • Use this to correct issues caused by moving a Sim with Moveobjects on such as the Sim falling through floors back to ground level.
    • Wall-mounted objects such as paintings or slotted items like easel paintings and workbench projects should not be moved this way as the game will still treat them as if they were in the previous location, which may cause issues.
  • Set Hot Keys>
    • When you have an interaction set as Hot Key, it will add a new menu under NRaas> named "Debug Enabler Hot Keys". This will only show if the specified location/object is valid or requires a certain scenario to "trigger" the interaction.
  • Radius Purge>
    • Will delete any object and Sim within the given radius.
    • You are able to set the range of the radius manually, 1 = 1 sim/tile = 1 sim/meter = 3 sim/feet (equivalent to lot terrain Debug Enabler interaction "DEBUG: Delete Objects in a meter range")
    • Use with precaution (savegame before attempting)!
