The intent of this scenario is to simulate a romantic rendezvous between two sims. The scenario can be written to create a single story, or to produce three different stories depending on the level of relationship between the two actors.

Story Translation Information:
  • If "Failure" the story key will be suffixed with "Fail"

  • Index "0" through "9" is the Actor
  • Index "10" through "19" is the Target

<AllowPregnancy>

  • Defines whether the scenario is allowed to impregnate one of the actors
  • The chance of impregnation is defined by the "Pregnancy: Chance of Unexpected" general option
  • Valid values are "True" or "False"

<AllowPartner>

  • Defines whether the Actor's own partner is allowed to participate as the Target
  • Valid values are "True" or "False"

<Delta>

  • Defines the amount to increase the relationship between the two sims involved in the scenario
  • Valid values are any whole number ranging from 0 to 100

<TypeOfStory>

  • Defines the type of story that is produced by the scenario
  • Valid values :
    • None - No story is produced at all
    • Standard - A single story is produced regardless of what relationship level exists between the sims
    • Segregated - The story is chosen based on the relationship level between the two sims
    • "EarlyFlirt" - If the sims have a liking below the kRomanceUseLikingGate
    • "NewFlirt" - If the sims are not romantic interests at the start of the scenario
    • "OldFlirt" - If the sims were already romantic interests prior to this scenario
    • Both - Produces both "Standard" and "Segregated" stories

<AcceptanceScoring>

  • Defines a dual-sim scoring table
  • If the resulting score is greater than "0", the scenario is deemed a "Success"
  • The scoring table provided must exist in either this module, or the base-mods scoring file
  • If left empty, the scenario automatically runs the "Success" results

<ReportAffair>

  • Defines whether the scenario should create a story for sims engaged in an illicit affair
  • When either Actor is partnered with another sim, which is not the other Actor, a story will only be fired if this is "True"
  • Note that the relationship change will occur regardless of this field's setting, only displaying of the story is affected
  • You must define this field if you have the <AllowAffair> enabled for any of the scoring filters
  • Valid values are "True" or "False"

<Success>

  • Specifies the results when the Target accepts the advance

  • Note that if there is no difference between "Success" and "Failure" results, you can leave off the prefix and define a single Field set to handle both conditions.

  • Specifies the results when the Target rejects the advance
