Personality Scenarios

There are a number of generic scenarios available for filling out the various roles you wish your personality to serve in the town.

Translation story keys follow the following format :

"NRaas.StoryProgression.<PersonalityName>:<ScenarioName><Index>"
  • Where the <PersonalityName> is the unique <Name> used by your personality
  • Where the <ScenarioName> is the unique <Name> used by your WeightOption
  • Where the <Index> is a numeric value ranging from "0" to "9"
  • It is not necessary to fill in all 10 indexes, however at least one story must be provided
  • The story summary translation is the translation key with no index at all

Scenarios which take two sims require the use of Scoring Filters to define which sims are to be used in the scenario.

For brevity, the three Scoring Filter field sets are noted here, rather than in each individual scenario :

<Mutual>

  • Defines an intermediary sim that is related to both the "Actor" and "Target" in this scenario.
  • The Mutual sim does not appear in the story for the scenario, it is merely used by the "Actor" and "Target" Scoring Filters to define who will be the actors in this scenario.
  • It is not necessary to specify a <Mutual> Scoring Filter.
  • For details on fields used, see this post : Story Filters

<Actor>

  • Defines the scoring filter for first actor in the scenario, which is usually considered to be the Actor or Instigator.
  • This sim is designated as Index {0} in the story translation
  • For details on fields used, see this post : Story Filters

<Target>

  • Defines the scoring filter for second actor in the scenario, which is usually considered to be the Target.
  • This sim is designated as Index {10} in the story translation
  • For details on fields used, see this post : Story Filters
