Buy Immune Boosters
Increases your resistance to a particular disease, allowing you to fight it off faster
Note that boosters stack, so feel free to purchase as many as you want.
Pay for a shot that reduces the chance you will infect other sims. Handy if you have a woohoo disease and want to get it on.
Note this does not reduce the chance of you getting infected by other sims.
Protections for a particular disease do not stack, purchasing another simply restarts the duration.
This interaction is also available via the Hideout for a reduced price, and effectiveness
If you have a disease that can be cured using an inoculation, this interaction will allow you to purchase one.
Inoculations make your sim immune to new infections, until a strain greater than your inoculation rating appears in town.
You can return to get a booster shot to increase your inoculation rating, if you find you need one.
Note that once you are inoculated, you can pass it on to your babies and toddlers by snuggling them.
Pay to have a doctor poke and prod you for an hour, and tell you about the diseases you currently suffer from.
Download Inoculation Report
Creates a notice containing the inoculations applied for the sims in your household
The report will inform you if the current inoculation is no longer effective by showing you the current strain in town and your inoculation rating.
Produces a detailed report regarding a specific disease, including symptoms, immunity boosters, inflammatories, etc.
Contains a list of diseases, each with their own set of settings
(Note that some diseases may have custom settings defined by tuning which are not listed here)
Determines whether a disease is being actively simulated in your town
Determines whether you wish to receive notices regarding new infections for this particular disease
Cost of Consultation
Defines the cost of visiting the Virologist at the hospital
Immune Boost Amount
Defines the amount of resistance given for each booster shot
Length of Consultation
The length, in sim-minutes, a sim must wait to visit the virologist
The length of time in sim-hours a protection effect lasts
Protection Rating: High
The percent rating for the protection given at the Hospital
Protection Rating: Low
The percent rating for the protection given at the Hideout
Allow Inactive Purchases
Whether to allow inactive sims to purchase inoculations
Base Inoculation Rating
Specifies the minimum rating granted whenever you get an inoculation
An inoculation rating of "1" will protect you against one strain higher than the current highest strain in town
Note that each disease has a default inoculation rating to which this value is added
Default : 0
Disease Stage Ratio
This options allows the user to alter the length of all disease stages by a factor
Enter a value smaller than 100, and each timed stage will shorten
Enter a value greater than 100, and each timed stage will lengthen
Note that this will alter incubation periods, but also alter contagious and remission periods as well
For instance: Having a longer period to be contagious may improve the chances of the disease spreading faster
While shortening the length may also increase the spread of the disease, by reducing incubation
Strain Reinfection Difference
Defines the minimum difference in strain numbers to have a sim get reinfected and starts the disease over again
Note that each disease has a default reinfection difference, to which this value is added
Allow Active Sims
Whether to allow active sims to receive spontaneous diseases when the mod decides a new strain is required
Contains a list of the diseases you have installed, and allows you to specify which ones are allowed to spontaneously outbreak
Number of Patient Zeros
Defines the number of new strains to inflict on the town when an outbreak occurs
Whether to display notices for new occurrences of disease in town
Allows you to initiate an outbreak immediately for any disease
Enables the debugging notifications for the mod
Resets the mod back to its tuning defaults
Note that this will erase all diseases in town, effectively restarting the mod from scratch.
